Freedom of Reproductive Rights Amendment (FRRA) 
to the United States Constitution stands for equal access to Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare, Sexual Education, Medical Research, and Freedom from Population Control for everyone in the United States of America.

 

Equal Access to Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare

Currently, with Reproductive Rights under siege in several States, and laws preventing young women and men from seeing doctors who could help them, millions of women and men do not have equal access to birth control, sexually transmitted infection detection, reproductive cancer examinations, abortion, and emergency contraception.  Those who do not have equal access to medical care are at risk for illness and spreading illness.  They are also at risk for unintended pregnancy, poverty, religious persecution, sociological stagnation, abortion, violence, substance abuse and more.  Furthermore, those without equal access to family planning and reproductive healthcare are treated as second-class Americans, being denied their 14th Amendment right to privacy, their 1st Amendment right to freedom of religion, and their 8th Amendment right to freedom from cruel and unusual punishment.

Equal Access to Sexual Education

Young people living in conservative religious environments are often neglected access to accurate, medically-sound, sexual information.  In these environments, children do not learn about their bodies in a way that would prevent them from being exposed to sexually transmitted infection, unwanted pregnancy and sexual violence.  Teens do not learn how to communicate about sex, which builds bridges and grows intimacy, which is healthy in forming the bonds that could one day result in meaningful partnerships and marriage.  Because these Americans do not have equal access to sexual education relative to other, perhaps more urban, Americans who are taught sexual education in schools and communities, many young men and women are growing up in Middle America incredibly disadvantaged.  They are far more likely to make mistakes regarding their sexual health, due to ignorance.

Equal Access to Medical Research

Without unrestricted Stem Cell Research, Americans are unable to reach their full-potential.  Unjustly, victims of diabetes and other prevalent diseases are denied cures, because of religious discriminative ideology.  The restriction of a cure based on religion does not apply to typical medical research.  For example, anyone willing could essentially access today's AIDS research and whatever cure, treatment, or vitamin currently on the market.  This is not true for patients of Parkinson's Disease, for example, who could very well be cured if our government would not limit the development of such a cure, based on a religious stance on abortion.

In conclusion, until Americans pass the Freedom of Reproductive Rights Amendment, we will continue to suffer dictatorship of our bodies, government authoritarianism of our choices, and domestic sexual injustice.  We must promote a healthy American sexual identity.  We must promote cures for disease and early detection of pregnancy and infections.  We must have the American right to use our own minds, with access to information, and the power to carry it out in a cure.  Women's bodies should never be a battleground for Politics again!

Freedom from Population Control

The Freedom of Reproductive Rights Amendment allows women and men to have as many children as they want, in the event population control legislation becomes a significant threat.  For example, if New York City becomes over-populated, and politicians enact laws mandating women and men can only have one child, FRRA would protect families from being unable to create the family they desire.  All Americans must have the reproductive freedom and legal rights to pursue a happy family.
