Dear Friends,

    You have heard it a million times, but really the only way you can reach your goals is my taking a proactive approach to standing up for what you want and being who you believe is who you have a right to become.  VOTE!  Just because the presidential election is over for now, you can still get involved on a local level.

    Everyone has a passion, a hobby, an interest.  Get involved in it.  You can give money, or not.  You can help out someone as a volunteer and produce results through your effort.  Money is really just a flow of energy, as is volunteering, helping, and being of service.  There is no price to be put on elevating humanity to the next level.

    My passion is equal rights for women and gays.  I don't understand why George Bush and his fellows seek and promote freedom for everyone else on the planet except for women and gays.  He actively moves toward destroying our reproductive rights, our human rights, as women and men, and by denying children sexual education in schools.  Lord knows my parents didn't teach me the birds and bees.  Where did I learn about disease, pregnancy and contraception?  In 7th grade Health class with fittingly enough, Mr. Papp.  Our president also drives a movement to deny our gay friends the right to be in peaceful, harmonious, long-term, legal marriages.  As far as Bush's agenda goes, Terrorists are entitled to more freedom that gay men and women living in America.  Democracy begins at home. 

    What can you do to make a difference?  Speak your mind and Talk It Out!  Take action and figure out what your views are.  What is it you truly want out of life?  

    If we deny our fellow Americans the rights to obtain education, reproductive care and procedures, and marriage licenses, then we deny a part of ourselves that wants to live.  Sign email petitions that come to you.  Take the time.  Make a Difference.
